Barbados Child-Friendly Beaches
Many are located on the more tranquil west coast of the island; however several south coast beaches have also been included as they are protected by reefs or have only moderate waves. On the east coast of Barbados are tidal pools which are perfect for wading.

Barbados is one of the Caribbean's most child-friendly destinations.
While all kids will enjoy the island's amazing white-sand beaches, older children and teenagers will be thrilled by
the available watersports including waterskiing, kayaking and boogie boarding. We also highly recommend a dive
on Atlantis Submarines, an experience your kids will be talking about for years to come!
For younger children stick to the calm waters of the west coast or the protected tidepools on the south and east coasts.

Travel tip: when traveling with children, a self-catering vacation rental is often a better choice than a hotel.
