The US chain Holiday Inn Resorts will return to Barbados in March. The chain takes over the formerly independently branded “Grand Barbados Beach Resort”.

Holiday Inn Resort Bridgetown Barbados

While Barbados is traditionally known for smaller, often family-owned and run hotels, the 124-room Holiday Inn Resort Bridgetown Barbados will offer travelers the option of staying at a well-known chain hotel.

The hotel is located in the Needham’s Point area on the south-west coast of Barbados, just 5 minutes from the capital city of Bridgetown. Its location is also in the heart of the historic Garrison area, recently recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The seven-story beachfront hotel overlooks the picturesque Carlisle Bay, known for its crystal clear water and home to several historic shipwrecks.

Amenities include special children’s facilities, full service spa and water sports.

We welcome back the Holiday Inn brand to Barbados and eagerly await the re-opening of this lovely hotel.
