The historic Kensington Oval in Barbados will once again host Test cricket when the touring New Zealand team take on the West Indies in the final Test match of the series.
This third Test was originally scheduled to take place at the Providence ground in Guyana, however it has been switched to Kensington Oval. The 5-day match starts on June 26th 2014.
Although attendance at Test matches has been dwindling in recent years, the probable inclusion in the West Indies team of a number of Barbadians (including Kraigg Brathwaite, Kirk Edwards, Sulieman Benn and Kemar Roach) and of Shivnarine Chanderpaul (a favourite of many Barbadians) will likely bring out the fans. Brathwaite hitting his first Test hundred in the 2nd Test in Trinidad only adds to the excitement!

Kensington is a beautiful ground, steeped in history. It hosted its first Test match in 1930 and remains one of the most popular grounds in the Caribbean for Test matches, ODIs and T20s. Guided tours of the Oval are available daily.
After this Test, the teams head to Dominica for two T20s.
