Effective January 7th 2023 taxi rates in Barbados were adjusted. This includes rides from the international airport and the seaport.
This is the first time in 15 years that local taxi operators have been granted a rate increase. The new rates reflect the current costs of vehicles, insurance, fuel, and other operating costs.
The rate structure also corrects some disparities that existed within the previous taxi rates.
