Barbados’ historic Kensington Oval will welcome the Sri Lankan Test team for the first time in June 2018.
The 3rd Test match of a 3-Test series between the West Indies and Sri Lanka will be held at Kensington from June 23rd to 27th 2018. To further add to the historic nature of the occasion, this will be the first time that a day-night Test is played in the West Indies.
This will be preceded by the 1st Test at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad June 6th to 10th and the 2nd Test at Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia June 14th to 18th. The tour begins with a 3 day warm-up match in Trinidad starting May 30th.
Sri Lanka have not played Test cricket in the Caribbean since 2008 so this tour will be a treat for local fans and visitors to the islands. It is also the first time that Kensington Oval will be hosting the Sri Lankans for Test cricket.
