The guests, management and staff at Mango Bay Hotel had 16 reasons to celebrate at the West Coast property recently. To mark the hotel’s 16th anniversary, the guests and staff were treated to a special afternoon tea party and evening champagne reception. In true Mango Bay style, with spunk and spirit, guests were adorned in the event’s celebratory pink and lilac and danced the evening away, as staff served up sweet treats and pink cocktails.
The evening’s celebrations form only part of the Sweet Sixteen campaign for 2010 as the celebration will continue throughout the year with very exciting packages for early bookings, families, honeymooners, couples married for 16 years or more, and for teens celebrating their sixteenth birthday. The hotel has also included a Sweet Sixteen Anniversary site on mangobaybarbados.com, where guests can write reviews and Sweet Sixteen wishes, send e-cards and book their next exciting holiday.
Group Director of Operations, Shireene Mathlin, thanked all guests for their continued commitment to the hotel and lauded the staff for their contribution to the success of the property, particularly that of Revenue Manager, Josea Browne, who conceptualised the campaign in 2009. With strong teams and a core of consistent repeat business, Mango Bay is poised to celebrate continued success in her remaining teen years and beyond.
