Barbados News: Barbadian wins gold at World Championships

21-year-old Ryan Brathwaite won Barbados' first medal at a World Championship meet yesterday when he captured gold in the 110-meter hurdles!

Brathwaite, who hails from the northern parish of St. Andrew, won in a time of 13.14 seconds, just 0.01 seconds ahead of American Terrence Trammell.
