Cove Bay
Cove Bay, located on the north-east coast of Barbados, is a lovely picnic spot where the only sounds are of powerful waves pounding against high cliffs.
The area is not easy to get to, often involving driving through a field maneuvering around several cows, sheep and goats!
However, if you make the trek, you will be rewarded by the beautiful scenery of the northern coastline and can enjoy the quiet calm under the swaying coconut trees.
Just a minute's drive away is the equally magnificent Little Bay, where you can soak in natural ocean pools and be awed by the majestic waves and waterspouts.
