Green Pond, located in the northern parish of St.Andrew, is one the major coastal wetlands in Barbados. Athough small, wetlands such as these are home to species not found anywhere else on the island.

The pond is best accessed via Morgan Lewis beach. You can also climb the hill behind the pond for magnificent views of the pond and Green River which feeds it.

We recommend that you hire a car and combine a stop at Green Pond with Morgan Lewis Mill and Cherry Tree Hill.
