The Dive Shop
Ltd. has been providing SCUBA Diving to visitors of Barbados for the past
30 years. It is owned and operated by Haroon Degia, a NAUI Instructor,
PADI Divemaster and ACUC Instructor with over twenty years of experience
diving Barbados waters.
Dive trips are run daily at 10:00am, 12:00pm & 2:30pm with night dives twice a week. All diving staff are certified by PADI, NAUI & or ACUC certified Instructors and Divemasters, also DAN O'2 certified. All levels of certification courses are taught.
The Dive Shop Ltd. arranges dive packages with accomodations at the Cacrabank & Blythwood Beach Apartments packages run from US$500.00 - 600.00 for a one week package including accomodation, unlimited day dives, tank, air, weights, belt, boat and dive guide also at the Island Inn Hotel. Some of the
most popular dive sites are Castle Bank Reef, Asta Reef and The Muff Reef.
The shipwrecks Berwind & Ce-Trek are located 300 yards from our shop.
The Friar's Craig next to Asta Reef and the famous "STAVRONIKITA"
sunk on purpose in November 1978 add to your diving adventure. Antique
Bottles dives are very popular and you get to keep what you find. Bottles
dating back as far as the 17th century can still be found. The Dive Shop Ltd. operates a booth at the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal servicing cruise ship passengers. Transpotation is provided from the cruise terminal to the Dive Shop. Two tank dives are scheduled in the mornings and afternoons, 10am, 12pm & 2:30pm.
