Your Arrival
Whether you're stepping onto our shores for the first time or returning to your favourite island.... Welcome 🌞
To make your arrival smooth (like a Bajan rum punch 🍹) follow the helpful guidance below, and you'll quickly be settled in and soaking up the sunshine!
- To help make your arrival smooth and efficient, all visitors are required to complete Barbados' official Immigration and Customs form online.
- The form is available 72 hours before your scheduled arrival.
- Once submitted, you'll receive digital receipts - please save them to your mobile device or print a copy to present on arrival.
If you'd like to make your arrival even smoother, consider booking the optional Fast Track service.
A dedicated representative will greet you upon landing, assist with the Immigration kiosk, guide you through baggage collection, and escort you through a customs line reserved for Fast Track guests.
They'll also help coordinate transportation, so you can step into island time without delay.
Getting to your accommodation is simple and stress-free. As you exit the Arrivals area, you'll find the official taxi dispatch kiosk just ahead. The attendant will confirm your destination, advise the fare (all rates are clearly posted), and guide you to an available taxi. No guesswork, no hassle. (see airport taxi rates)
Prefer to plan ahead? You can pre-book your taxi service for added peace of mind. Many providers offer round-trip packages, so your return to the airport is taken care of too.
Planning to explore Barbados by car? Good idea - it's a wonderful way to discover the island at your own pace. Vehicles are in high demand, especially during the December to April peak season, so we strongly recommend booking well in advance of your arrival.
The rental company will deliver the vehicle directly to the airport, or to your accommodation if you prefer. Friendly reps are happy to share driving tips and answer any questions, helping you feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel.
From the moment you arrive, friendly support is close at hand. The Customer Service Desk, located within the Arrivals Terminal, is your go-to for answers, directions, and assistance.
Need help with your bags? The airport porters - affectionately known as Red Caps because of their bright red caps! - are ready to assist with your luggage and offer a warm Bajan welcome.
If your luggage hasn't arrived with you, don't worry. In the Baggage Hall speak with your airline's baggage agent. They'll help you file a Lost Bag Report and guide you through the next steps.
