The Adventures of two Tiger Cubs

Betty

Betty was born in Minnesota, U.S.A. She was an only child, living on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Her only companions were her beloved dogs and cats.

In 1943 she enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a WAVE and was stationed on Oahu, one of the Hawaiian Islands, when the war ended.

In Boston, Massachusetts, Betty majored in Childhood Education and the Arts at Whellock College - her career in teaching has taken her to South America, Italy and the United Kingdom. Her hobbies include writing, riding her bicycle, photography and travel. She has twice visited the Holy Land. Her motto is "With God all things are possible".

Betty has traveled on safari to Africa and India. Preservation of wildlife is another great interest, but especially her love for the tiger, which is headed for extinction, unless we can prevent this from happening.

England is now Betty's retirement home, she lives in a beautiful part of Oxfordshire with her faithful tabby cat - "Charlie Girl" - who she calls her "miniature tiger"!

Betty is the author of the children's story, "The Adventures of two Tiger Cubs".
