This beach is located on the south coast of Barbados. Officially called “Enterprise Beach” this popular picnic spot boasts of white sands<\/strong>, crystal clear water<\/strong>, casuarina shaded picnic<\/strong> and parking areas, scenic cliff views<\/strong> and breathtaking sunrises<\/strong> and sunsets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are two sides to Miami Beach that sea bathers can enjoy. The western side is generally calm, clear and is suitable for swimming whilst the eastern beach has a stronger current and is more suitable for the expert swimmers, boogie boarders, para sailing, Hobie cat and wind sailing.<\/p>\n

Although life guards are stationed at this beach, please be vigilant at all times especially when bathing with younger ones. When going to the beach in large groups it is advised that you notify the life guard of your presence.<\/p>\n

  • the Mr. Delicious bus shop which is located directly on the beach and sells wonderful local fish cakes<\/li>\n

    Also in close proximity are craft shops \u00a0(located in Oistin’s Fishing Village), The Berinda Cox Fish Market, a bus depot for your transportation needs, CIBC First Caribbean Bank, a shopping plaza, numerous bars and two gas-stations.<\/p>\n
