NEFATARI CADDLE

Jewellery Designer, Nefatari Caddle, is well-known for her exotic and tropical pieces which consist of beaten metals ( mainly bronze and occasionally silver). These metals are skilfully shaped into eye-catching earrings, dramatic bracelets, pendants and rings.

Nefatari is adventurous and constantly developing new ideas. She draws her inspiration from her island home Barbados, which she says has such vibrant, yet, natural offerings. For example, sea shells and coloured glass found on the coast, as well as feathers from the various forms of bird life , along with leaves and seeds from local trees and plants.

She is rich with experience; having toured Africa observing African jewellery technique and African metalwork. In 1990, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in jewellery design from the renowned Parsons Design College in the United States.

In 1996, she continues to produce creative, thought-provoking jewellery.
