About Cornwall House

Cornwall House was built in 1960 by Englishman Charles Angelus who fell in love with the dramatic Bathsheba coastline and undulating hills that slope down to the ocean.  Bathsheba reminded him of the Cornish coastline in England hence the name Cornwall House.

This majestic property enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of the rugged East Coast with its miles of white sands pounded by the powerful Atlantic Ocean.

Cornwall House is built on 2 ½ acres of elevated land commanding uninterrupted sea views.   It has four air conditioned double bedrooms facing the East Coast, inside and outside dining areas,  spacious living room and entertainment area and a well equipped kitchen and large patio

Spectacular swimming pool and spacious pool house complete with seating area and dining area to seat 8.

Swimming is not recommended on the East Coast because of the dangerous rip tides and undertows, but one can soak in the many shallow inshore pools and be caressed gently by the surf as it swirls around you.   Local Bajans come to Bathsheba for weekends or holidays and cool off in the pools with their favourite drink in hand.    So why not take a long walk on the beach and then experience a soothing soak in the mineral rich and invigorating Bathsheba pools.

Cornwall House is equipped with a Security Alarm and automatic gates.

Quiet and peaceful.
Secluded.
