Crop Over Evening of Folk is a part of the calendar for one of the many NCF Events scheduled for the Crop Over Festival Season.
This year's theme is De Riots In We Tin Tot - Celebrate the Power of the Voice.
This is a theatrical spectacle, engaging its audience through story telling and various other performance models. It is also a festival tradition dating back to the 1980s, influenced by the happenings during the time of the 1937 riots and pays tribute to the day of national significance.
This year, there will be a presentation featuring the folk culture of 'Speechifying'.
