Barbados News: Barbados will host World Twenty20 final in 2010

Barbados will host the final of the ICC World Twenty20 in 2010.

The tournament will be staged across Barbados, Guyana and St Lucia culminating in the final on May 16th at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Kensington Oval was also the scene of the final of the 2007 World Cup between Sri Lanka and Australia. Since that tournament the venue has undergone further changes including the addition of flood lights.

Dates
Super Eight stage men's matches will be played at Kensington Oval on:
Tue May 04, Thu May 06, Fri May 07 , Sat May 08 and Sun May 09.

The Mens and Womens final will be held at Kensington Oval on Sun May 16.

Prices
Ticket prices are drastically reduced from those of the the 2007 World Cup.
Super Eight prices are between US $6.00 and US $15.00 and for the final between US $10.00 and US $40.00.
There will be no admission fee for the Women's Group matches.
