FORMAT: 8 Round Swiss
VENUE : The Headquarters of National Union of Public Workers (NUPW), Dalkeith Road, St. Michael, Barbados.

Defaults Default time is 1 hour after official start time and players defaulting without notifying Tournament Director within 24 hours will be automatically withdrawn from next round.
Ratings This competition will be eligible for BCF Ratings.
Fees Bds$ 10.
Prizes 1st  -Trophy & Bds $ 250.00 Prize Voucher, 2nd and 3rd place Trophies; 1st; 2nd & 3rd place Trophies for age category (10, 12, 14 & 16); Special prizes: best female player, youngest player, best game etc.  The final list of prizes will be displayed at the venue before the opening ceremony.
TIE BREAK: Sum of the Progressive Score, followed by Buchholz and Sonnenborn-Berger. If tie still exists it will be broken by a play-off.
