Scuba divers and snorkelers have one more wreck to explore in amazing Carlisle Bay!

On April 28th the decommissioned Barbados Coast Guard vessel “The Trident” was sunk to join several other wrecks in the magnificent marine park at Carlisle Bay.

Here’s how she went down…

 
Thanks to G Fish Watersports Barbados, we have a first look at The Trident on the ocean floor:

 
Popular wrecks in the bay include the World War 1 vessel “Berwyn” which was sunk in 1919 and sits in just 20ft of water, and the “Cornwallis” which was targeted by German U-boats during the Second World War. She sits just 15ft deep.
